FAQs

Getting Started

  • How do I schedule my first appointment?

  • You can schedule by directly calling Alexis Lynn Carroll, LCSW at 475-268-7201. This is a confidential and secure voicemail system- please leave your name and callback number and we will respond within 48 hours. Navigate to our “Contact Us Page” for more direct messaging options.

  • Do you offer a free consultation or meet-and-greet call?

  • Yes, we offer a free 15 minute phone consultation. We welcome any additional questions prior to or after our initial introductory call.

  • What should I expect during the first session?

  • The first session is a space for us to begin getting to know each other. I’ll take time to learn about what brings you to therapy, your personal history, and any patterns or life experiences that feel important to your current challenges. Together, we’ll explore your goals, what you hope to heal or integrate, and what meaningful change might look like for you.

This is also your opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the therapeutic process. We’ll clarify how therapy works, what to expect in terms of pacing, and ensure that the approach aligns with your needs and preferences. Building a foundation of mutual understanding and trust is essential — and that begins in this first conversation.
